Legal Action Against TMC Legislator
The Enforcement Directorate has filed charges against Trinamool Congress (TMC) legislator Jiban Krishna Saha concerning irregularities in the West Bengal Secondary School Certificate examination process. This information was confirmed by an official on Saturday.
The charges were submitted to the Bankshall Court here, 60 days following Saha's arrest. The official stated, "We have filed an 80-page charge sheet against Jiban Krishna Saha today."
Saha was apprehended in August for his alleged involvement in a scam that included manipulation of exam papers and bribery.
